Hello Everyone ! WordPress एक open source Content Management System (CMS) है जो की users को dynamic websites और blogs बनाने में हेल्प करता है.

WordPress web का सबसे popular blogging system है. जो की users को अपने CMS से website edit, customize और manage करने की facility देता है.

Content Management System (CMS) क्या है ?

Content Management System (CMS) एक ऐसा software है. जो की बहुत सारा डेटा जैसे की text, photos, music, documents etc. को store करता है और हमारी website में available करवाता है. ये website के contents को modify, edit और publish करने में help करता है.

WordPress History (वर्डप्रेस  का इतिहास)

WordPress 27th May, 2003 को Matt Mullenweg और Mike Little के द्वारा launch किया गया था. वर्डप्रेस को October 2009 में open source के रूप में declare किया गया था.

WordPress Features (वर्डप्रेस की सुविधाओं)

• User Management: ये user information manage करने में help करता है, जैसे की user का role चेंज करना users से (subscriber, contributor, author, editor or administrator) बनना , user को create or delete करना , password और user information change करना. User manager का main part है Authentication.
• Media Management: ये एक tool है जो की media files and folder को manage करता है. इससे आप अपनी website पे अपनी files को easily upload, organize and manage कर सकते हैं.
• Theme System: ये site view को modify करने में help करता है. इसमें images, stylesheet, template files and custom pages होते हैं.
• Extend with Plugins: बहुत सरे plugins available होते हैं जो की user की needs के अनुसार custom functions and features provide करते हैं.
• Search Engine Optimized: ये search engine optimization (SEO) tools provide करता है जो की on-site SEO को simple बना देता है.
• Multilingual: ये page के सभी contents को user के instructions के अनुसार किसी भी language में translate कर सकता है.
• Importers: ये user को post के रूप में data import करने में help करता है. ये custom files, comments, post pages and tags import करता है.

जब भी हम एक blog start करने के बारे में सोचते हैं , हम बहुत सरे options के बीच confuse हो जाते हैं , जैसे की Blogger, WordPress, Tumblr etc.

हम किस blog platform को select करें ये इस बात पे depend करता है की हम blog के साथ क्या करना चाहते हैं. अगर आप blog सिर्फ fun के लिए या अपना एक personal journal maintain करने के लिए बनना चाहते हैं तो आप BlogSpot, WordPress.com, या Tumblr use कर सकते हैं क्योंकि ये free भी हैं और easy to manage भी.

अगर आप अपने business को promote करने के लिए या पैसे कमाने के लिए blog बना रहे हैं तो professional platform जैसे की WordPress.org (self hosted) use कर सकते हैं.

WordPress Plugins

WordPress plugins वर्डप्रेस software की खासियत हैं.ये आपको आपकी वर्डप्रेस featured site में नई features add करने में help करते हैं. हर चीज़ के लिए WordPress plugin है. आपको सिर्फ plugin find करने हैं और उन्हें अपनी site में add करना है.

WordPress Themes

WordPress theme के through आप अपने website के design को change कर सकते है.WP में बहुत से Free theme option मिलेंगे and बहुत से premium भी.इसका use करके आप easily effective website create कर सकते है.

Advantages (फायदे)

• Customization easy hai, user ki needs ke anusaar.
• ये एक open source platform है और free में available है.
• User की needs के अनुसार इसमें CSS files modified की जा सकती हैं.
• इसमें बहुत से plugins and templates free में available हैं. User इन plugins को अपनी need के अनुसार modify कर सकता है.
• इसमें contents को edit करना बहुत easy है , क्योंकि ये WYSIWYG editor (What You See Is What You Get) use करता है , यानि आप जैसा लिखेंगे वैसा ही user को दिखेगा , commands का उसे किये बिना.
• Media files easily and quickly upload हो जाती है.
• Customization easy है , user की needs के अनुसार.

Disadvantages (नुकसान)

• बहुत सरे plugins use करने से website heavy हो सकती है जिससे loading slow हो जाएगी.
• WordPress website में modification करने के लिए PHP knowledge होना जरुरी है.
• Graphic images and tables को modify करना difficult है.
